Boardwalk Empire to Take Over Kensington on Monday
The popular HBO show will be filming in a parking spot near you.

Alternate side parking rules may be suspended this weekend for Orthodox Easter and Passover, but no higher power can protect your parking spot from the makers of Boardwalk Empire, which will be filming its third season in Kensington on Monday.
Production vehicles will be arriving on Sunday at 10 p.m., and will require use of the following streets:
- East 5th Street between Church Avenue and Albermarle Road, both sides
- East 5th Street between Beverley Street and Church Avenue, a half-block on the east side closer to Church Avenue
- Church Avenue between Ocean Parkway and East 4th Street, both sides
- Albemarle Road between Ocean Parkway and East 5th Street, south side
The filming itself will be held indoors on Monday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The ubiquitous HBO smash frequently uses the streets of Brooklyn as its set, simultaneously thrilling celebrity voyeurs with () sightings of the show's star Steve Buscemi, while aggravating drivers who just want their damn parking spaces.
The sentiments of the latter may have been most poignantly expressed on a "No Parking" sign plastered by the Boardwalk crew in Park Slope earlier this month, upon which one enervated local scrawled simply:
