Coming Up: Used Book Sale at P.S. 130 in Windsor Terrace
Support the P.S. 130 PTA by dropping off your old books — or buying someone else's — at the school cafeteria this weekend.

WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — The P.S. 130 PTA will be hosting a used book sale this Sunday to raise money for its activities.
PTA member Sally Skinner said anyone can donate books for children and adults, so long as they're in good physical condition. The books can be dropped off on Saturday, Sept. 24, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the lower school cafeteria at P.S. 130. (Skinner said to enter the building through the schoolyard at the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and E. 5th St.)
Then, on Sunday, the sale itself will take place in the cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All kids books will cost $1. Books for adults will cost $1 if they're paperbacks and $2 if they're hardcovers.

The PTA is still looking for volunteers to help staff the event. You can sign up online here, or just email your availability to info@ps130pta.org.
This is the PTA's second annual fundraising book sale. Last year, it was combined with a flea market, but Skinner said that this year, the group will hold the flea market in the spring. The date, time and location for that event will be announced on the PTA's website.
