What is happening to Kensington's restaurants? First , now ?
Reader Liam McCarthy sent us the photo at right depicting a newly shuttered Connie's Cafe and Restaurant. According to the sign hung on the front door, the place was shut down by the Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene "for operating without a permit."
We're looking into what exactly this means, but in the mean time, it looks like Connie's regulars will have to get their morning cup of joe elsewhere.
