A new restaurant in the former The Oak and the Iris location is hiring.

The owners of Park Slope's Alchemy are opening up , and they're looking for a chef.
The new restaurant will serve primarily beer and small plates out of the location at 2826 Fort Hamilton Pkwy, owner Kevin Read told Patch last month.

We are looking for a talented, collaborative, full-time chef to work with us on our second restaurant opening early fall.

The restaurant is in Windsor Terrace. It will be a neighborhood place with a creative, fun menu and atmosphere. 65 seats plus additional seasonal patio. Kitchen is SMALL. No Gas. But we have: Induction, flat top and salamander.
We want someone with fresh, simple ideas who can put out quality, consistent food quickly while maintaining food and labor costs.
The ideal candidate is
-experienced leading a small kitchen
-communicates easily
-clean and organized
-creative
-collaborative
-DOH certified and militant about maintaining letter grade of A
-able to take suggestions and translate ideas to the plate
-willing to do any and every job in the kitchen
