Kensington's Cops Have a New Date and Time for Their Monthly Public Meetings

The officers patrolling Kensington and Borough Park will now host their monthly public meetings on the third Monday of each month.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — The NYPD's 66th Precinct has changed its monthly public meeting schedule. The 66th, which patrols Kensington and Borough Park, will now host its monthly Community Council meetings on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m., rather than the third Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The next Community Council meeting will take place on Monday, Sep. 19 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the office of Community Board 12, located at 5910 13th Ave.

Community Council meetings are a chance for residents to discuss public safety issues with Precinct Commander Kenneth Quick. It's also a time when the NYPD can update residents on its work, and analyze any crime trends observed in the precinct.
