This South Brooklyn 13-Year-Old Has Been Missing for Nearly a Month
Jaden Cruz was last seen on his Bath Beach middle-school campus on Sept. 26, police say.

GRAVESEND, BROOKLYN — A missing 13-year-old boy from the South Brooklyn community of Gravesend was last seen nearly a month ago at his middle school in Bath Beach, according to the NYPD.
Jaden Cruz, pictured above, was seen on Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. inside I.S. 281, located at 8787 24 Ave., police said.
By Monday, Oct. 17, the boy was still missing, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

Detectives described Cruz as a Hispanic boy standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and was last seen wearing gray pants, red-and-black sneakers and a gray hooded sweater, police said.
Anyone with information about Cruz can confidentially report it using the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
