Accident, Downed Pole and Wires Close Route 139

Route 139 between Plum Brook Road and Primrose Drive in Somers was closed Monday afternoon because of an accident, a downed pole and downed wires.

The closure is slated to last from about 4 to 11 p.m., according to a New York State Department of Transportation notification from NY-Alert.

The DOT suggested the following detours:

• Northbound: 139 north to Plum Brook Road to Sunderland Lane. Return to 139.
• Southbound: 139 south to Sunderland Lane to Plum Brook Road. Return to 139.
