Bronx Man Accused Of Driving With Revoked License
Police also said he did not have an interlock device installed in his car.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Bronx man was accused of driving without a license and an interlock device.
The Yorktown Police Department said William J. Henriquez, 32, of Bronx, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without an interlock device installed, misdemeanors, and numerous other violations of state vehicle and traffic laws.
Police said, shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on patrol on Route 6 saw a car fail to the designated lane and drive onto the shoulder of the roadway.

After initiating a traffic stop, Henriquez was identified as the driver.
A check of Department of Motor Vehicle records found that his license had been provoked. Also it was found that his car was not registered or insured. Additionally, the license plates did not belong to his car.

Henriquez was arrested and issued traffic tickets for the two unclassified misdemeanors and numerous other traffic violations.
He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 26.
An interlock device prevents a driver from starting a vehicle until a breath alcohol test is taken.
