Bronxville Man Accused Of DWI, Having Open Container In Yorktown
Police also said this blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Bronxville man was arrested after being accused of drunken driving and having an open container in his car.
The Yorktown Police Department said an officer was sent shortly before 9 p.m. Friday to Crompond Road for a disabled vehicle int the road.
The officer found the car in the eastbound lane and identified the driver as Maximilian J. Kester, 23, of Bronxville.

An investigation discovered Kester was driving while intoxicated and had an open container of alcohol in the car, police said.
He was placed under arrest and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

Authorities said Kester was also driving his car with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or more.
He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or more and driving while intoxicated, first offense, both misdemeanors, and parked on pavement and open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, traffic infractions.
Kester was issued uniform traffic tickets for the charge and released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party.
He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Sept. 2.
