Brooklyn Teen Accused of Causing Damage at Phoenix House
Yorktown treatment center resident charged with criminal mischief.
A teen resident of Phoenix House in Yorktown is charged with criminal mischief in connection with an incident at the treament facility, according to Yorktown Police.
The 16-year-old Brooklyn teen was charged after police investigated a Dec. 17 incident at Phoenix House. Police said the teen is accused of damaging property at Phoenix House.
The teen was later released to a Phoenix House staff member and faces a hearing in Yorktown Court on Jan. 24, 2013.
