Burglary In Yorktown Interrupted When Homeowner Arrived

YORKTOWN, NY — A burglary in progress was interrupted Wednesday in Yorktown.
The Yorktown Police Department said the incident happened between 10:55 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Curry and Gomer streets.
It was not a home invasion, police said, because the suspects fled the home once the owner entered the driveway.

A thorough search of the area yielded no results, authorities said.
There were no injuries either to the homeowner or members of responding agencies.
