Car Accident Leads To Suspended Registration Accusation
Police said the man failed to stop at a stop sign.
YORKTOWN, NY — A car accident led to a Mahopac man being accused of driving without his car being registered in Yorktown.
The Yorktown Police Department said Noe Tutberidze, 43, of Mahopac, was arrested after being accused of driving with a suspended registration.
Police said that, shortly before noon Friday, an officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving Tutberidze.

After a check of the vehicle’s registration, it was determined that it was suspended.
Tutberidze was charged with operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended, a misdemeanor, and fail to stop for stop sign, a traffic infraction.

He was issued traffic tickets for the charges and released.
Tutberidze is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 15.
