
A 25-year-old Ossining man is facing criminal charges for stealing a Google tablet while working as a UPS employee, Yorktown police said.
The man was arrested on July 29 when police responded to United Parcel Services, located at 1785 Front Street in Yorktown, for a report of a larceny in progress. Investigation revealed the UPS employee had stolen Google tablet valued at $229, police said. He was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
The man was transported to Yorktown police headquarters. He was released and scheduled to return to Yorktown Town Court on Sept. 3.
