Fight Leads To Menacing With A Gun, Child Endangerment Charges: Police
Yorktown police said a suspect unlawfully possessed the gun with a defaced serial number, intended to use it, and has a previous conviction.

YORKTOWN, NY — A physical altercation led to a felony arrest and child endangerment charges in Westchester County, according to police.
The Yorktown Police Department says that 51-year-old Antoine Michael Arnold, of Yorktown, was arrested and charged with felony second degree criminal possession of a weapon; felony third degree criminal possession of a weapon, defaced firearm; felony second degree criminal possession of a weapon, intent to use; felony third degree criminal possession of a weapon, previous conviction; midemeanor second degree menacing; and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
On Wednesday, around 7:28 p.m., Yorktown police responded to a report of menacing with a firearm.

After an investigation, officers determined that Arnold and the victim got into a physical altercation, during which Arnold allegedly displayed a loaded firearm and pointed it at the victim.
Officers recovered the firearm as a result of the investigation. Police said the firearm was unlawfully possessed by Arnold with the intent to use it, the serial number on the firearm was defaced, Arnold was previously convicted of a crime, and the firearm was in a location which endangered the welfare of a child.

After processing, Arnold was arraigned at the Yorktown Justice Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. He is due back in court on February 18.
