Gerard W. Fletcher of Somers passed away on Aug. 1 after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 69. Fletcher was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves behind his wife Linda, children Timothy (Keri) of Mahopac, Robert (Lauren) of Mt. Kisco, and Brenda (Dennis) of Danbury, CT and grandchildren Mikaela, Sammy, Andrew and Ryan. Words can never truly express the man he was or the impact he made on the lives he touched, his family wrote in his obituary. Visitation will be Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cassidy Flynn Funeral Home, located at 288 East Main Street in Mt. Kisco. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church Mt. Kisco. Burial to Follow at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu flowers the family prefers memorial contributions be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
