Longtime Yorktown Resident Passes Away at 62

From the : Margaret H. McCorry, a devoted mother and wife, passed away on June 25 at the age of 62. 

She was born on August 23, 1949 in the Bronx to Thomas and Mary Hynes. The woman graduated from Misericordia School of Nursing in 1969. She then married husband Frank McCorry on July 10, 1971.

McCorry was a school nurse at Blue Moutain Middle School for 23 years and lived in Yorktown Heights for 35 years.

She is survived by her devoted husband Frank, four loving children; Christine Sanchez (Michael), Elizabeth Turner (Gene), Kathryn Cadman (Wesley), and Timothy McCorry. Margaret is also survived by her sister Pat Cahill and three granddaughters; Julia, Claire, and Bridget.

Family will receive friends at the on Thursday June 28, and Friday June 29, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the main , located at 137 Moseman Road in Yorktown Heights. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
