Man Arrested After Accident For Driving With Suspended License: PD
Police said he was not traveling at a reasonable speed and passed through a solid red traffic light.
YORKTOWN, NY — A man from New York City was accused of driving with a suspended license after an accident near the Taconic State Parkway.
The Yorktown Police Department said, shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, an officer was sent to a car accident at Crompond Road near the Taconic State Parkway.
Olger Angamarca, 39, of Jamaica, Queens, was identified as the driver, and police said he was driving while his license was suspended.

Police also said he wasn't driving at a reasonable speed and had passed a steady red traffic signal.
Angamarca was processed at the scene and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and two traffic infractions.

He was issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance.
Angamarca is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 11.
