Megan Lapicki-Landers, John F. Kennedy High School Graduate, Dies at 37
Megan Lapicki-Landers fell ill suddenly and passed away May 1.

Less than two months after Megan (Lapicki) Landers of Briarcliff Manor was admitted to the hospital for organ failure, the beloved 37-year-old wife and mother of two has passed away.
According to her obituary from Coffey Funeral Home,
"Born in North Tarrytown on September 4, 1975, she was the daughter of Michael S. and Catherine Hennessy Lapicki. Megan was raised in Ossining. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Syracuse University and Pace Law School. She was an attorney with Thomson and Reuters in New York City.

On April 21, 2001, she married William Landers in St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family cabin in Lake George. She was very active in St. Theresa’s Parish and School functions particularly involving her children. Megan was also an avid fan of the NY Jets.
Megan is survived by her loving husband Bill, her adored children Declan and Failenn, her loving parents Michael and Catherine of Ossining and her loving sisters Catherine (Michael) Wilde of Tarrytown and Elizabeth (Richard Lepore) Lapicki of Tarrytown. She is also survived by her nephew and godson Oliver Stanley Wilde as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins."

Friends of Lapicki-Landers helped organize a blood drive in her name at St. Theresa School last month.
Her Funeral Mass will be Monday at St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff at 11 a.m., with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
