Mohegan Lake Man Accused Of Driving With Revoked License

Police also said the car he was driving didn't have a valid registration.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mohegan Lake man was accused of driving an unregistered car with no license.

The Yorktown Police Department said Scott G. Echeverria, 33, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, a traffic infraction.

Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, an officer made a traffic stop for a violation of the state Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Echeverria was identified by his license which was found to be revoked, police said.

The office also determined that the vehicle he was driving did not have a valid registration.

Echeverria was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department where he was processed and released on his own recognizance.

He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court July 28.
