1. Girl Dies After Being Pulled From Pool at Yorktown Home
Terribly sad news – the 5-year-old girl from the Bronx, who on Friday, at the Westchester Medical Center, where she was taken off life support.

2. New York Yankees Ivan Nova Comes to Yorktown
Ivan Nova, from the New York Yankees will be at Navajo Fields in Yorktown today. , for boys and girls from 8-18 years of age. The clinic will take place from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The price is $125 per attendee. Fielding, throwing, pitching, and hitting techniques will be given to those in attendance. Update: Yorktown's baseball clinic with Yankees Ivan Nova has been cancelled for today due to Nova's injury. The clinic will be rescheduled.
3. Yorktown Town Board Work Session
Yorktown town board members will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at Town Hall to discuss pending litigation in a closed session. The open to the public meeting is expected to begin at 7:40 p.m. Click here for the full agenda.
4. Registration Open for Westmoreland Orienteering Event, Volunteers Needed
According to the Westmoreland Sanctuary's website, on Sun, July 22 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. is "RAID THE SANCTUARY," the first ever orienteering competition hosted by Hudson Valley Orienteering and Westmoreland Sanctuary:
