3. Yorktown Town Board Meeting

Yorktown town board members will meet tonight starting at 5 p.m. They will go into executive session before starting the public meeting. Click here for the full agenda. 

4. Invitation to Children to Join Chorus

Taconic Opera has an open invitation for children ages 7-10 with singing ability to join Taconic Opera’s children’s chorus for their Oct. 18-21, 27-28 performances of Arrigo Boito’s Mefistofele! for more details.

5. Shoplifting Arrest

Catherine Hanlon, 44, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested in Waterford, CT. She was charged with larceny in the 6th degree (shoplifting) by the Waterford Police Department. The arrest does not indicate a conviction.
