Pedestrian Killed On Old Yorktown Road: Police
The Westchester County Accident Investigation Unit is assisting Yorktown police.
YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Wednesday morning on Old Yorktown Road near the intersection of Strang Boulevard.
A 66-year-old Yorktown resident was driving south on Old Yorktown Road at 6:54 a.m. when he apparently hit a pedestrian, police said.
Police said the pedestrian, whom they did not identify pending notification of next-of-kin, was a 58-year-old town resident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
