Peekskill Man Caught With Fake $100 Bill While Being Arrested: Police
Yorktown police said the counterfeit bill was found while the man was being processed on an unrelated charge.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Peekskill man was accused of having counterfeit money while being processed on an unrelated charge.
The Yorktown Police Department said David Lee Herbin, 33, of Peekskill, was charged Saturday with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.
Police said, around 12:15 p.m. Saturday, during arrest processing for an unrelated charge, Herbin was found to be in possession of a counterfeit $100 bill with a counterfeit serial number.

He was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, $10,000 bond or $20,000 partially secured bond.
Herbin is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court June 6.
