Peekskill Man Charged in $179 Theft, I.D. Theft at Jefferson Valley Mall
Police: Clothing stolen from Macy's, stolen credit card used at Foot Locker.

A 29-year-old Peekskill man has been arrested in connection with the theft of $179.96 worth of merchandise from Macy's and identity theft for using a credit card reported stolen by a Yorktown woman, according to Yorktown Police.
Danny Erazo of 5 Welcher Ave. was charged after an incident at the Jefferson Valley Mall - where he worked at a kiosk - and an investigation at Yorktown Police headquarters.

Erazo was arrested after a security officer at Macy's filed a complaint that Erazo had left the store without paying for a bag filled with clothing items from Macy's.
Police said Erazo was later found to be in possession of a stolen credit card, which he had used at the Foot Locker store at the mall. A Yorktown woman told police she had last seen the credit card earlier the same day when she went to the kiosk where Erazo was working, according to police reports.
Erazo was arriagned in Yorktown Town Court and was ordered held in the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla pending a court hearing.
