Peekskill Resident Cited for Driving Without a License
He's stopped for a traffic violation in Yorktown.

A Peekskill resident stopped by police for a traffic violation has been cited for driving without a license, according to Yorktown Police.
The 30-year-old Phoenix Avenue resident was stopped on Dec. 14 at 9:30 p.m. on Route 6 near the Taconic State Parkway, where he turned westbound in the eastbound lane of traffic on Route 6, police said.
Police said a computer check found the driver's license had been suspended for failure to pay a fine. He was cited for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, failing to notify the DMV of an address change and for making an improper left turn.

The driver was released pending a Jan. 24, 2013, hearing in Yorktown Court.
