A domestic dispute investigation in Somers has led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Somers man, police said. Jared Vergilis was charged with third-degree assault on July 14 at about 6:14 p.m. when police responded to investigate the domestic incident outside of his residence. Vergilis was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, police said. The man was arraigned in the town of North Salem Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Somers Town Court on July 18.
