Police: Two Men Charged with Possession of Marijuana, Controlled Substance on Taconic

Two men, who were stopped for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, face criminal charges after they were found in possession of marijuana and bills, state police said.
Daniel O. Lang, 27, and Herminio Ramirez, 52, were stopped on July 13 for doing 70 mph in a 55 mph zone and moving from lane unsafely, police said.
Lang was found to be in possession of 149.5 alprazolam 0.25 mg pills and 1.5 Amphetamine and dextroamphetamine 20 mgs pills, police said. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Ramirez was allegedly found to be in possession of one partially burnt marijuana cigarette. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both Lang and Ramirez were released and scheduled to appear at on July 19.
