Police: Two Women Steal Clothing, Swim Goggles from Macy's, Sears

Stolen $100 Worth of Clothing from Macy's
A 17-year-old Putnam Valley female faces criminal charges that she allegedly stole several items from , police said.
The teen, whose name police did not release due to her eligibility for youthful offender status, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She allegedly stole $109.49 worth of merchandise from store displays and exited the store without paying for the items on July 14.

The defendant was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was later released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 16.

A 28-year-old Thornwood resident is due in court next month to answer charges that she allegedly stole several items from a department store in Yorktown, police said.
security personnel alleged the defendant, Danica N. Welsh, left the store without paying for assorted clothing and two pair of swim goggles having a total value of $260 on July 12. The woman was arrested and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
Welsh was released on $100 bail and was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 14.
