See The Joyful Moment Lost 2-Year-Old Is Reunited With Parents With Help From Man's Best Friend
Westchester County Police Department K9 Essex helped locate the lost toddler who was in an unlikely perch inside a store.

SOMERS, NY — Good job, Essex, good job.
On Monday, around 11:34 a.m., a Westchester County Police Department K9 team responded to join law enforcement and emergency service agencies already searching for a 2-year-old child reported missing from Tractor Supply in Somers.
While the search spread out to the area surrounding the store, Westchester County Police Department K9 handler Paul Osterman, and his partner K9 Essex, began a track from outside the store entrance. Surprisingly, Essex led Officer Osterman right back into the store where the missing child was discovered between two displays of goods, camouflaged by the color of the packaging which matched the child's shirt, according to police.
