Siegel Declares Victory In Yorktown Board Special Election
She will take a seat on the Yorktown board after winning a special election on Tuesday, to fill the seat vacated by Supervisor Lachterman.

YORKTOWN, NY — Susan Siegel will take a seat on the Yorktown board after winning a special election to fill the seat vacated by Ed Lachterman, who won a special election earlier this year to become Yorktown Supervisor.
"Many many thanks to all the wonderful, dedicated volunteers who helped make my victory possible," Siegel said in a statement released on Wednesday. "Your efforts clearly made the difference. It takes a team to win. And you did it! Now I’m looking forward to my — and your — next major challenge: letting the sunshine in on Town Board deliberations. We still have lots of work to do to improve the quality of life for all Yorktowners."
