YORKTOWN, NY — A Peekskill man was accused of speeding while driving with a suspended license.

The Yorktown Police Department said Terrance Patrick-Jenkins, 26, of Peekskill, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and speed not reasonable and multiple other traffic infractions.

An officer was was Route 6 shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday when he said he saw a car driving an unreasonable speed and also committing several other traffic infractions.

After a traffic stop, police did a check of Patrick-Jenkins's driver's license and found that it was suspended.

He was arrested and processed at the scene.

Patrick-Jenkins was issued traffic tickets for the charges and released on his own recognizance.

He is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court July 28.
