Spying Yorktown Woman Faces Felony Burglary Charges: Police

YORKTOWN, NY — A 44-year-old Yorktown woman has been charged with felony second-degree burglary after entering a home to spy on the resident, according to police.

On Wednesday, around 11:51 p.m., officers responded to a Yorktown home after receiving a report about a domestic incident.

After an investigation, police found that Wendy Acevedo-Zsigrai unlawfully entered the home with the intent to commit unlawful surveillance.

She was contacted by police and agreed to come to the Yorktown Police Department headquarters, where she was arrested.

After arrest processing, Acevedo-Zsigrai was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court. She was released after posting $5,000 bail and is due back in court on July 1.
