2. Stephanie Crispinelli's Legacy

The legacy of Stephanie Crispinelli, the 19-year-old Somers resident who tragically died in the 2010 Haitian earthquake, lives on.

Last year the Stephanie Crispinelli Softball Fundraiser raised $20,000 for the Stephanie Cripinelli Humanitarian Fund schools program in Jamaica. This year, a second school is being built. On Sunday, July 15, 16 teams will participate in the annual fundraising softball tournamet. 

Stephanie's parents, Lenny and Lin Crispinelli, recently sat down with Patch to talk about the schools and Stephanie's legacy. Read more . 

3. Happy 5th Birthday, 

The dental studio recently celebrated its fifth year anniversary at their new location. The festivities included wine-tasting and various food items.  to read an excerpt of owner Ash Khorram's speech from that night.

4. Concert and a Movie

Mark your calendars. The Yorktown Parks and Recreation department invites you this year's outdoor movie and concert on Thursday, July 12 at 7:15 p.m. Enjoy a children's concert featuring music by Zev & Pretzelstein followed by Puss in Boots beginning at dusk.
