Support Connection's Golf Outing, Girl Revived in Yorktown, Holland Sporting Club Demolition

1. Holland Sporting Club Being Demolished
The town of Yorktown began the last week. Supervisor Grace will be holding a press conference today at 10 a.m. at The Club to discuss the demolition. Patch will bring you the latest.
2. President of the Board of Education

The Yorktown board of education members will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the 's cafeteria. On the agenda is the swearing in of this year's elected school board members in the uncontested race. There will be a call for a nomination of the school board's president and vice president.
3. Girl Revived After Falling into Pool at Yorktown Home

If you missed our story on Friday, we reported that a 5-year-old girl was said to be in stable condition after she was pulled from a pool at a Yorktown home Friday afternoon. The child's parents pulled her out of the pool and a police officer started performing CPR when he arrived at the home. for the full story including a video of two paramedics who talked to Patch about the incident.
4. Support Connection's Golf Outing
Support Connection is holding its annual Golf Outing, hosted by Club Fit, at Salem Golf Club in North Salem on On Monday, July 16. Proceeds benefit the organization's free programs and services. The golf outing is open to all, not for golfers only. The cost is $75 for cocktail hour and dinner. There will be raffles and a silent auction. 5. Some Relief from Heat
According to the National Weather Service, we'll get some relief from the hea this week. Monday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 83. At night, temperatures will drop to a low 60.
