Support Connection to Hold Kick-Off Breakfast for Cancer Walk on July 28

, an independent non-profit organization that provides free, confidential support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer will hold a Support-A-Walk "kick-off breakfast" on July 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing Center in Mohegan Lake.
The kick-breakfast for the cancer walk is a free event for anyone interested in learning more about Support Connection’s . Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast while learning about the Walk. Brochures, flyers and other materials will be distributed. There will be presentations from past participants on how to form teams and gather donations.

Support Connection’s 18th Annual Support-A-Walk for breast and ovarian cancer awareness will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7 at in Yorktown. It's a 3-mile walk-a-thon held each year to bring attention to the needs of people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Proceeds from the Support-A-Walk directly fund Support Connection’s free, confidential breast and ovarian cancer support services.
Each year, thousands of people from across the Hudson Valley come together for this fundraising community event. Participants walk in celebration of or in tribute to those affected by these diseases. To learn more about Support Connection or the Support-A-Walk, visit www.supportconnection.org.
