WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Driving a stretch of the Taconic in Northern Westchester will be a little more challenging than usual on Tuesday, according to the NYDOT.

The New York State Department of Transportation said the Taconic State Parkway northbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 11 (State Route 134) and Exit 13 (Underhill Avenue) in the Town of Yorktown between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., for bridge work, weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
