Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Scheduled
The DOT said the closures will facilitate maintenance activities, weather permitting.
YORKTOWN, NY — Beginning Monday, the state Department of Transportation will be closing one lane of the Taconic State Parkway.
DOT officials said the one lane will be closed north- and southbound between Exit 11 (State Route 134) in the town of Yorktown and the Putnam County line.
Closures will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday to facilitate maintenance activities, weather permitting.

The DOT reminds motorists to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of one's driver's license.
