Three Students, Bus Driver Injured in Minor Yorktown School Bus Accident
Three children and the bus driver were transported to the hospital to be checked out.

Three children and a school bus driver were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning following a minor accident at the intersection of Stoney Street and the Bear Mountain Parkway in Yorktown.
The mini-van was carrying 11 students when the crash happened at about 8:45 a.m., Yorktown Assistant Superintendent of Business Tom Cole told Patch.
He said the three students were taken to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center to be checked out. The driver was also taken to an area hospital, but Cole said he did not know the extend of his injuries.

The rest of the children were checked out by the school nurse once they got to school, while some were picked up by their parents.
Cole said nobody was seriously injured and he saw the children on the bus sitting and talking to each other.

Police are investigating the incident. Further details were not available.
