4. Yorktown Based Organization Donates to Food Bank

The Yorktown-based Lipilekha Bangla Association (LBA) has donated $2,500 to the Food Bank for Westchester, which has been fighting hunger for 24 years. The Lipilekha Bangla Association was founded in 1982 by a group of Bengali residing in the Hudson Valley to promote their culture and language through events, the arts and education. The Feast will be held July 11-15. This is the 90th year for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
