Canned Food Drive Sorters & Delivery Drivers
United Way of Westchester and Putnam's Canned Food Drive — which spans two counties — aims to collect canned goods to support individuals and families facing food insecurity. On the final day of this donation drive, volunteers are needed to help sort, record, and deliver these canned goods to partner food pantries. Volunteers MUST have an SUV or vehicle that can accommodate these items and be willing to deliver them to the participating food pantry.
Date: March 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Old Fashioned Winter's Afternoon
The Friends of Rye Nature Center is hosting its annual Old Fashioned Winter's Afternoon and volunteers are needed to assist with setup, breakdown, and activities during the event. Activities include overseeing game stations, handing out food, and assisting with crafts. Perfect for volunteers 13+.
Date: March 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Job Coaches for Young Women with Autism
Yes She Can's mentorship program is seeking volunteer mentors and job coaches to work with individuals on the autism spectrum in Westchester County. During the course of a year, volunteer Job Coaches will help their mentees become better communicators and leaders by teaching them how to articulate their strengths, hone their listening skills, and advocating for themselves.
Date: Weekly commitment for one year
