Volunteer Opportunities Of The Week: Spring Clean-Up

Every week, Patch will spotlight volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Each week, Patch will be highlighting volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — perhaps in a way you didn't consider before.

And if you are in an organization that has some need for volunteers, be sure to let us know by emailing michael.woyton@patch.com.

This week we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.

Annual Egg Hunt
Pegasus Therapeutic Riding's Annual Community Egg Hunt is just a hop, skip and jump away, and volunteers are needed to help make this event a success for participants and visitors to the farm. Volunteers will assist with guiding guests to their parking spots and the check-in table, hiding eggs around the farm and overseeing activities such as arts and crafts, a bake sale and games. Pizza will be provided for lunch in the middle of the day as a thank-you to all volunteers. This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for students and horse lovers ages 14 and up.
Date: 3/17 from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 12-2 p.m.
