Yonkers City Worker Arraigned In Hit-And-Run Death Of Teen
The man was charged with felony leaving the scene of an incident with a fatality without reporting.
YONKERS, NY — A Yonkers city worker was arraigned in the hit-and-run death of a 16-year-old Archbishop Stepinac High School student.
Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah said Monday Stephen Dolan of Yonkers was charged Friday with leaving the scene of an incident with a fatality without reporting, a felony.
She said her office is working closely with the Yonkers Police Department to investigate the case and support the victim's family.

"Our hearts go out to the victim's family and friends during this time of immeasurable grief," Rocah said.
Prosecutors said, around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dolan hit Christopher "CJ" Hackett, who was riding an electric scooter, with his van on McLean Avenue in Yonkers. He left the scene of the incident, police said.

Hackett was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx where he died Thursday.
Dolan is an employee of the City of Yonkers Department of Public Works.
