From the : Yorktown supervisor Michael Grace will be opening the , located at 1974 Commerce Street in Yorktown, for residents as a cooling center on Saturday July 7. The Cooling Center is a place where residents can stay if their home is uncomfortable because of the unseasonable high temperature and high humidity. Residents are permitted to bring non-perishable items and are reminded to bring with them any necessary medications.
