A Lincolndale and a Katonah girl, both 17 years old, are facing criminal charges in Yorktown for stealing $36 worth of items from a department store, police said.
The two girls, whose names police did not release, were arrested on July 3 after police responded to Sears on a report of two shoplifters in custody. The teens were charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
They were released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 6.
