
A 19-year-old Yonkers teen is facing criminal charges in Yorktown for allowing several people under the age of 21 to drink alcohol at a Cooper Street home, Yorktown police said.
Police said a Yorktown police officer was on patrol on July 28 at about 12:05 a.m. when he observed a "disorderly party" taking place at the home. Investigation revealed the 19-year-old teen had allowed underage youths to drink alcohol, police said.
The teen was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor.
He was released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 27.
