Yorktown To Hold COVID-19 Booster Clinic

Appointments are required; people can sign up online.

YORKTOWN, NY — With coronavirus infection rates ticking up in the Hudson Valley, it's probably important to be aware of when booster shots against the COVID-19 are available.

In the town of Yorktown, there will be a COVID-19 booster clinic for the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

The clinic will be at the gym in the Albert A. Capellini Community Cultural Center.

An appointment is required; no walk-ins allowed. Make your appointment here.

Appointments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all appointments are scheduled the appointment page will read "No Availability." You can then check back to see if there have been cancellations.

You will receive a confirmation email when you register which will contain the forms and items needed to be brought with you. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Are you Eligible?

First Booster Dose Eligibility:

  • 12+ years old and received 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, the second dose being at least 5 months ago
  • 18+ years old and received 2 doses of the Moderna vaccine, the second dose being at least 5 months ago
  • Received a previous dose of the J&J vaccine at least 2 months ago

Second Booster Dose Eligiblity:

  • 50+ years old and received 3 doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, the third dose being at least 4 months ago
  • Have received 2 doses of J&J or 1 dose of J&J and 1 dose of Pfizer/Moderna at least 4 months ago
