Yorktown Man Accused Of Drunken Driving
Police said he also had an open container of alcohol in his car.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of drunken driving after a traffic stop.
The Yorktown Police Department said Daniel George, 21, of Yorktown, was stopped by an officer on East Main Street because his car had an inoperative tail light and didn't have a rear bumper.
Police said he was driving while intoxicated and had an open container of alcohol in the car.

George was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
Authorities said he had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more.

George was charged with driving while intoxicated BAC 0.08 percent or more, first offense, and driving while intoxicated, first offense, misdemeanors, and traffic infractions of inoperative tail light, no rear bumper and open container of alcohol in vehicle.
He was issued traffic tickets for the charges and released on his own recognizance to a responsible party.
George is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 11.
