His car was stopped for speeding on Route 6, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown officer on patrol stopped a car on Route 6 at 1:20 a.m. Thursday because it was speeding and had only one operating headlight, police said.
A routine check of the vehicle's temporary Georgia registration showed it was valid.
Then the officer checked the vehicle identification number, and found its previous New York State registration was suspended, police said.
