
A 22-year-old Yorktown man is facing a felony charge for throwing his girlfriend's cell phone in a pool, then smashing it on the ground, Yorktown police said.
Scott V. Baia was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, following the June 26 domestic dispute.
The man was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was later released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on July 11.
