Yorktown Man Leaves Accident Scene: PD

Police also said the man was driving without a license.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after being accused of leaving the scene of an accident.

The Yorktown Police Department said Dylan Calderaro, 27, of Yorktown, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and leave the scene of a property damage auto accident and following too closely, traffic violations.

Police said, around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, an officer went to the intersection of Underhill Avenue and Cardinal Court to speak to a woman who said she had been involved in a car accident and the other vehicle left the scene.

An investigation located Calderaro and his car, police said.

He was driving without a license, authorities said.

Calderaro was arrested, issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Sept. 14.
